A trip to the Arb

The Nichols Arboretum (aka "the Arb") is a woodsy trail area over by the Huron River. The weather was so nice today we just couldn't stay away--hard to believe it was almost 70 degrees in November.

Josie enjoyed strolling and looking at nature.

Josie's Michigan sweatshirt is hiding the kitty cat on the pocket of the shirt she's wearing underneath.

Casually leaning on a rock holding her favorite ball.

Mmmm...that sippy cup hits the spot...back to my nature walk!

This Arb is nice!

Our next-door neighbors did up their yard for Halloween. Josie thought the skeletons were funny.

Forever in blue jeans

Are you lookin' at me?

Pairing a jean jacket with jeans is often considered a fashion faux-pas, but I think the result is kind of cute even if she does look like she's heading out to a kegger in the woods circa 1987.

Trail strolling

Down the street from our house are some woodsy trails. We can take them to go the long way over to the playground. These pictures were taken with a cell phone, so they're not that great, but you can at least get a sense of Josie's off-roading adventure here.

I cut Jack's head off here, but you can see that Josie is having fun.

On the trail.
