Josie's first cookie

Hmmm...what is this thing? (Note: It's not actually a cookie. It's a teething biscuit, but cookie is more fun to say).











I have to concentrate all of my energy on biting.













While we didn't get any pix of Josie smiling while eating her cookie, she did like it quite a bit. We quickly realized, though, that she likes to wave the mushy cookie around and rub it on her face and anything else in the vicinity, so the few cookies she's had since this one are being served at the table. Even there, the cookie mush gets all over her face and hands and then hardens into a sort of shellac.

Josie's pal Noah came over to play yesterday afternoon. Noah enjoys getting himself stuck under the chair while Josie watches on.

Josie enjoys riding around on her Daddy's shoulders. Here's a shot from last night...she is a little congested from teething, so she looks slightly cranky in this pic.

Josie went to her first birthday party last Saturday...it was for her new little friend, Jack (who was either running around or napping during the party, so I didn't manage to get any photos of the birthday boy).
