Here's some footage of Josie this morning.

Story hour
Josie adore son caniche
Some of these shots are a little blurry, but they're a nice series showing her with her little poodle dog that sits on the shelf above her changing table. Josie loves it when we make the poodle
puppy "attack" her.
"Zis leeetle dog tried to leeek moi!"
Don't worry...we were always within reach of Josie during the taking of these photos...we're not in the habit of leaving her sitting up unattended on the changing table!

Some November shots
Jack took some days off last week and, while I was supposed to be getting some work done (and I did...a little), we also had time to get out and about. Here are some candids:
Here we are in Smith Park down the street from our apartment. You can't quite tell, but that little blip in the photo near my forehead is the Sears Tower in the distance.
Josie enjoying Superior Park, another one of our favorite spots.
Hanging out in her stripey dress (and stripey leggin's and sox, which you can't see). Gnawing on a fun toy...that red part slides around like magic.
Waking up early and playing in the chilly living room is fun! Thanks for the new hat, Grandma! I bet Mom and Dad will post some more pix of me in it soon.
Bundled up and ready to go for walkies. Grandma sent this funky hat and snowsuit just in time for the cold weather!
Jack makes an offering to one of the Ukrainian churches we pass by.
Hey! Who are you offering up?
Uh, Mom? Dad? This place is a mess. Don't you think you should do something about it?
Never mind...I'll just chew on my sock and ignore the mess.
I know you'd spend more time cleaning if I weren't distracting you with my cuteness!

Election Morning
Today we took Josie on an election day stroll to the coffee shop and story time at the library. Here's some voters in line at the Wicker Park fieldhouse. It looks like the statue of Charles Wicker is waiting in line.
We saw Obama's face everywhere. The sign at Letizia's bakery reads "Roma per Obama".
Josie was conked out for most of our walk.
She woke up for story hour, where she met up with her pal Noah. The library was also a polling place.
Then, it was Noah's turn to nap.

More Halloween
Last night our friends Steve, Alison and Noah came over for a Halloween dinner.
We had a hard time picking a Halloween costume for Josie, but one day Celia was singing the traditional lullaby "Sweet Child O' Mine" and we decided that Axl Rose would make a great costume.
So here is Josie dressed as Axl Rose, circa 1992.
Wow! It's uncanny! The real Axl was a lot less cheerful, though. Also, his cheeks were somewhat less chubby.
Noah came dressed as a ferocious bear.
Axl, meet Bear. Bear, meet Axl.
Then things got out of hand and Axl smashed up the dressing room.
