Our friend Pam from "back East" sent Josie this toy lobster. We're thinking we can take her picture with it over time to show her growth. Right now it's a little bigger than she is. Later, when she's older, we can use it as a prop to teach her about her New England heritage. Jack is still traumatized from the first time he went home to meet my parents in NH and we made him not only transport the lobsters from the lobster pound to our house but then also made him drop them into the boiling water to be made into dinner.
